Head of Sales
Head of Sales opportunity working for an innovative HealthTech scale-up supporting the NHS. This is a hybrid role with some time in the London office, and UK travel as required.
Our client is on a mission to increase efficiencies for the NHS, improving remote patient management by giving clinicians greater access to patients, improving patient monitoring and rehabilitation. Their SaaS product provides a variety of tools enabling hospitals to centralise their remote patient monitoring, making clinicians' lives easier and allowing better access to patients. They’re looking for a Head of Sales to lead and scale their sales function in line with the company’s growth.
This role would be well suited to someone who has sold digital products to the NHS previously in a sales leadership role.
Main Responsibilities
- Build a multi-million revenue-generating sales team, selling to the NHS, private clinics, medical device and pharma companies
- Mainly focused on selling existing products into secondary care, CCG's, ICS's, and other NHS trusts
- Build your own sales team focused on UK sales, with the potential to go international as the business grows
- Establish the market penetration plan to best ensure a predictable and consistent pipeline of new business
- Involve in the cross-sell and upsell strategy to existing customers
Skills & Experience
- Several years of experience in a sales leadership position for a HealthTech scale-up
- Experience selling digital / SaaS products to the NHS is essential, a good network of contacts in this space is highly desirable
- Track record of meeting and exceeding both individual and team sales targets relating to new customers, with a strong “hunter” mentality
- Experience selling into private healthcare is highly beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to lead successful and scaling sales team
