Business Development Executive opportunity with a fast-growing, global InsurTech business as they scale and move into new markets. This is a fully remote role based within Europe.
Our client provides embedded insurance products and is working with a large corporate client who is bringing an innovative proposition for embedded insurance for mobile devices to the marketplace. Consequently, they are seeking an experienced business development expert with experience in the mobile device insurance space in the UK and Europe.
Reporting to the C-Suite and key stakeholders within the client organisation, you will be tasked with end-to-end pipeline building of new business, from lead gen to stakeholder engagement.

About the role:
- Play a key role in helping shape the development of this new-to-market proposition
- Successfully identify, develop, and execute complex enterprise sales with target organisations with a sales cycle of 6 – 24 months
- Utilise your existing industry connections to develop a trusted network of champions in key target organisations as well as build new C-Suite level relationships
- Develop a long-term BD strategy including the identification of pipeline risks and mitigation plans
- Work closely with the marketing team and other stakeholders to grow our client’s brand via industry events and other forms of networking
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure client pitches are delivered effectively
- Provide feedback from prospective clients on challenges and opportunities to help contribute to continual product innovation
- Produce regular pipeline reports and forecasts looking at conversion rates, performance, and other BD metrics
- Previous experience within the mobile device insurance space is essential
- Strong network of contacts in industries such as banking, mobile network operators, retailers, insurers, etc. that offer mobile device and subscription insurance to their customers
- Experience with complex, enterprise sales with values ranging from £250,000 - £1m+ ARR
- Understanding and experience of B2B2C distribution models
- Skilled in developing relationships and selling to large consumer-facing brands
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
- Have previous experience of presenting to and negotiating at C-suite level
- Highly competitive base salary range starting at £90k and increasing depending on the level and depth of experience
