Account Executive opportunity with an established and scaling Series B SaaS business in the RetailTech space.
Our client helps retailers to foster loyalty and grow their customer base by communicating with every customer that enters their stores. Already working with major household names from the high street in both the UK and the US, they now have an opportunity for an Account Executive with retail sector experience to join their growing team.
Due to the success of their SaaS solution for retailers, with customers signing multi-year contracts with a high renewal rate, they are expanding throughout the UK and EMEA.
This role will suit an AE with a genuine hunter mentality who is used to approaching senior-level prospects in retail organisations. You will be experienced in networking at events and selling to contacts including CMOs, Heads of Loyalty, Heads of CRM, and IT.
Your sales approach will be to understand your customers’ strategic objectives and demonstrate the value our client’s product provides in hitting those objectives. Sales cycles typically range from 6 – 12 months.

About the role:
- Expertly lead and manage the sales cycle from start to finish, including creating and delivering proposal presentations
- Develop a robust sales strategy to further penetrate the UK/EMEA market in key verticals including, but not limited to, FMCG, grocery, convenience, and hardware
- Manage sales offers, including presentations and negotiating budgets and contracts
- Drive prospecting for new leads through the UK and other international markets when appropriate
- Develop close strategic relationships with prospects and third parties. Execute wide and deep account penetration of client businesses to ensure our client’s product is well perceived at every level of an organisation
- Maintain the CRM and provide reports and feedback to management on performance, opportunities and risks
- Represent the company at conferences to promote its products and services
- Work closely with marketing and also customer support to ensure smooth operations
- Several years of experience in an Account Executive role within RetailTech or MarTech
- End-to-end B2B sales experience, preferably selling a SaaS product
- Possess knowledge of FMCG, hardware, fashion, or grocery retailers
- Able to pivot quickly to tackle new markets or territories
- Consultative sales approach, selling to Chief Marketing Officers and senior management within marketing and loyalty teams
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Have previous experience with mid-market and enterprise deals
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Salary of £65k - £75k depending on experience
- Double OTE
