About the role
This is an opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant with at least 1 - 2 years of experience to work on exclusive roles for early-stage and fast-growing businesses in sectors such as Software as a Service (SaaS), ClimateTech, Sustainability, AI, HealthTech, and FinTech.
You will have the autonomy to tackle the market in the way that works best for you with the support of existing systems and processes. Currently, we are looking for consultants to join us on the Data & Engineering desk and Sales desk for the UK with an opportunity to work on roles for US clients as the business grows.
The roles you will be recruiting for are mid to senior-level positions. This means working as a true consultant; advising senior clients and representing candidates who are serious about their career moves.

Wilson Grey began supporting clients in the FinTech space with senior hires in 2017 and soon expanded to other industries due to the demand for the highly skilled candidates we represent.
Our clients are genuinely exciting tech businesses who come to us to hire across sales, marketing, product. operations and technology. This means that you get to work with a variety of sectors, keeping things interesting and ensuring no two days are the same.
We operate on a hybrid basis, with 2 to 3 days a week in a Central Bristol office.

You get to work closely with and learn from the founder of the business, who has run top-billing contract desks in two Virgin Fasttrack businesses before building a perm executive search desk at Wilson Grey.
We have developed solid processes and strategies in place to give you the best framework in which to succeed. We've also developed innovative in-house tools that give us an edge over the older, larger agencies with legacy issues, and invest in our technology to ensure we keep ahead of the crowd, including AI and automation.
You’ll have an on-the-job, induction program when you join in addition to continued daily coaching and training sessions.

About you
- Recent recruitment agency experience in a 360 consultant role
- Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, always looking to improve and keen to contribute new ideas.
- You’re excited to learn about new industries and are always pursuing self-development
- Inquisitive nature – always asking questions to understand how to best help clients and candidates
- Confident personality with an outgoing and positive attitude, able to build relationships quickly
- Excellent communication skills and someone who loves speaking to different people every day on the phone, video, or in person
- Experience in, or passion for, the startup space
- Embody our values of transparency, determination, and drive
- Excellent attention to detail and written skills
- Experienced with Microsoft Suite
Remuneration and benefits
- £25k - £32k base salary dependent on experience
- Commission scheme up to 30% of billings (realistic first year OTE £60k+)
- Quarterly targets for base salary increases (x4 times a year)
