Full Stack Engineer opportunity with an EdTech startup. This is a fully remote role based in the UK.
This is a great opportunity for a Full Stack Engineer with a focus on Front End development. You will be using your skills to build a business with a very positive mission to provide equality in education.

- You have the confidence to work autonomously but enjoy the support of a small team around you
- You’ve worked in a startup before and prefer all that it entails over a cushy job in a large corporation
- You have a setup at home to allow you to work fully remotely and thrive in this environment
- Build a web-based platform for learners
- Work alongside the existing team in developing features including AI tools, interactive simulations and connectivity with hardware
- Work cross-functionally, particularly with the product team, contributing to product strategy and direction
- Create first-class user experiences, take a creative approach to challenges, and make informed UX decisions
- Current or recent experience in a tech startup or scale-up with a fast-paced environment
- Several years’ experience using React commercially
- Fluent in the use of TypeScript and JavaScript
- Demonstrable track record of producing high-quality, well tested code
- Backend experience (e.g. Node.js, Prisma and SQL)
- Strong HTML/CSS/JS skills
- A keen interest in EdTech and creating tools to help learners develop and flourish
- GraphQL & Apollo framework, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS
- Have developed accessible, cross-platform software
- Scaled software for the purpose of a fast-growing user base
- Familiarity with AI tools and their integration into workflows
- Base salary of £70k - £80k depending on experience
- Fully remote with flexible working hours
